About

Zoe Ward – B Psych (Hons) M Sp Path

Zoe is a mother of three and has lived on the Gold Coast most of her life.  She understands the challenges faced with raising a family and aims to ensure that the child and family are at the centre of the decision making when it comes to their care.  When she is not working with families to enhance their child’s communication or feeding skills, she can be found at any one of her children’s sports or reading.

Zoe has a passion for child development, having worked in developmental community health for ten years.  She is also passionate about the school age child, particularly when it comes to literacy intervention and has worked in schools across the Gold Coast since opening her private practice.  Additionally, with her experiences raising a family, Zoe has also become passionate about delivering neuroprotective care when it comes to infant feeding, having the mother-child relationship at the heart of every clinical decision.  Feeding, whether it be breastfeeding, bottle feeding or transitioning to solids, and oral skill development for mealtimes can be a tricky road to navigate and Zoe aims to help you on that journey.

Zoe has completed tertiary education, achieving a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) and a Masters of Speech Pathology from Griffith University. She is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.  She is also a member of the Australian Breastfeeding Association.  She has further completed additional training in order to provide the best in evidence-based practice.  Certifications include:
